The Anglican Bishop of Riverina, Bishop Donald Kirk says water is the critical issue for communities in the Riverina.

Speaking at the recent opening of the 63rd Synod of the Anglican Diocese of Riverina in Griffith, Bishop Donald said providing safe and sustainable water supplies for everyone ‘is a human and spiritual imperative’.

‘Spiritually speaking, water is the essence of life. We are people who not only know the practical need for water but also the spiritual need of the water of life feeding body and soul,’ Bishop Donald said.
